Promethium is growing our world-class team, and we’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our mission to help customers develop winning molecules faster! In this role, you’ll focus on the strategy and execution for building our molecular design platform to serve our users in the Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, and Materials verticals. This is a high-impact role that reports directly to the VP of Product & Engineering.

This is a remote-first role based in the United States and requires less than 20% travel. Hybrid options are available for those in the Palo Alto, CA area.

Responsibilities

Define, design, and ship new quantum computing B2B software products, from ground up to vastly scalable platforms
Work cross-functionally with Developer, R&D, and Sales teams
Provide well-thought through PRDs and planning to Developers, connecting customer, business, and technical aspects
Develop short-, and long-term roadmaps for product development
Work with customers and the QC ecosystem to ensure product-market-fit
Gather, analyze, and present data to steer product direction
Deeply understand markets, competition, and user requirements

Role

Understand Promethium’s product offerings, value proposition, competitive landscape, and identify strategic opportunities for the product and company.
Work closely with engineering, chemistry and design to ship product updates that help drive successful outcomes for our customers.
Communicate regularly with customers to understand their needs and feedback, write blog posts, product documentation and training materials.
Own product innovation from ideation to launch, and continuous improvement.
Be hands-on with day-to-day product operations.

Requirements

‍

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
6+ years experience in product management or relevant equivalent experience.
Deep understanding of the customer experience, and a track record of building products that deliver substantial value to customers.
Ability to independently execute as a highly motivated individual in a fast-moving startup environment.
Ability to co-ordinate complex product launches across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Ability to lead product analytics strategy and make data-driven prioritization decisions.
Comfort in a highly technical domain, and ability to rapidly learn new technologies.
Strong operational skills and attention-to-detail in managing day-to-day product operations.
Proven track record of facilitating product growth from 0-1 or early-stage products.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills from the IC-level to the C-Suite.
A passion for science and technology and trying to advance the molecular discovery process.

Nice-to-Have Skills

An advanced degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
Experience working in the molecular discovery or materials design field.
Experience working in a startup environment.

Compensation

Base Salary

‍$150,000 - $200,000 per year, plus participation in the QC Ware corporate bonus program.

This can vary by location. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
