Promethium is growing, and we’re looking for a Director of Marketing to join our mission to help customers develop winning molecules faster! In this role, you’ll focus on building and closing pipeline opportunities within our Pharma, Chemicals, and Materials verticals. You will lead lead-generation strategies, event management, and customer-facing communication. This role reports directly to the SVP of SaaS Sales.

This is a remote-first role based in the United States and requires less than 25% travel.

Responsibilities

Role

Understand Promethium’s product offerings, value proposition, and competitive landscape.
Build and execute marketing plans to generate lead volume and achieve company goals.
Identify high-value events and manage Promethium’s participation to maximize impact.
Raise brand awareness through social media, SEO, and events.
Coordinate product launch efforts across multiple teams.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a marketing role.
Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to ‘connect’ with individuals at all levels, from C-suite executives to practitioners.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

A degree in Chemistry or a related field.
Experience working in startups or startup-like environments.

Compensation

Base Salary

‍$120,000 - $130,000 per year, plus participation in the QC Ware corporate bonus program.

This can vary by location. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.

We empower customers in the pharmaceutical, chemicals, and materials industries to solve complex molecular research and design challenges. Using high-performance GPU-based code, Promethium modernizes chemistry simulations, enabling faster, more accurate design and production of new materials and drugs.
